GREETINGS,Welcome to the Dollarway School District Home Page. Dollarway School District, the home of the Dollarway Cardinals, serves the educational and developmental needs of over 2000 students. These students are served at four campus sites (James Matthews Elementary,  Townsend Park ( North & South) Elementary Schools, Altheimer-Martin Elementary (located in Altheimer), Dollarway Middle School and Dollarway High School).

The area of the district covers 340 square miles and its assessed valuation is $92,742,623.00. The district operates on an approximate budget of $13.5 million, annually. The local millage rate is 40.3 in the immediate Dollarway area and 32.6 in the Altheimer Unified Area

The district prides itself on its family-oriented tradition and qualities. We are large enough to be efficient, yet, small enough to be effective.

Both the Middle and Senior High Schools are North Central Accredited.

The elementary students are housed at three buildings (James Matthews Elementary,  Altheimer-Martin Elementary, and Townsend Park Elementary).

The district offers a challenging and relevant curriculum for its students. The district’s motto is "Attendance + Attitude = Achievement."

If you are ever in the area, come by and see us. You’ll be glad you did and we will too!

Yours in education,

Thomas Gathen
